Refund and Returns Policy

Piano Viewing

The Pianoman (Pty) Ltd provides all customers the opportunity to view and inspect the piano prior to purchase. During this viewing, the buyer has the opportunity to assess the piano’s condition, quality, and appearance. If the buyer is satisfied with the condition of the piano, arrangements for delivery will be made.

It is the buyer’s responsibility to raise any concerns regarding the condition of the piano during the viewing. This includes, but is not limited to, aspects such as:

  • The colour and finish of the cabinet.
  • The potential(possibility) for respraying or refinishing the cabinet.

No claims or requests related to these issues will be entertained after the piano has been delivered, as the opportunity to inspect and raise concerns is provided during the viewing.

Delivery

  • Delivery within the major metropolitan areas of Gauteng is free of charge.
  • Delivery to outlying areas will be calculated based on the distance and communicated to the buyer in advance.

Tuning

Piano tuning will be scheduled approximately two weeks after delivery to allow the piano to acclimatise to its new environment properly. The initial tuning is included as part of the purchase.

Refunds and Returns

The Pianoman (Pty) Ltd offers every buyer the opportunity to view and inspect the piano before completing the purchase. Any concerns or issues regarding the piano’s condition must be raised during the viewing and before delivery.

Repairs will only be considered if significant damage to the piano occurs during transport, specifically while it is in the care of The Pianoman (Pty) Ltd or our designated delivery service. In the event of such damage, it is the buyer’s responsibility to report it immediately upon delivery, documenting the damage clearly. Our team will assess the issue, and any necessary repairs will be conducted at no cost to the buyer. Damage caused by external factors, such as handling by the buyer after delivery, environmental conditions, or any other post-delivery circumstances, will not be covered and will be the sole responsibility of the buyer.

Any issues that arise after this period will be deemed new and unrelated to the original condition of the piano at the time of sale and will not be covered under the initial warranty. Additional repairs or servicing beyond the warranty period will be subject to separate charges.

By purchasing from The Pianoman (Pty) Ltd, the buyer acknowledges that they have had the opportunity to inspect the piano before purchase and have accepted its current condition.
